      <image:title>Blog - Parenting Bites</image:title>
<image:caption>Welcome to Parenting Bites, a blog for you, if you’re the person that’s seeking relatable parent ranting embedded in research and personal thoughts…from me, a Mom of 3, raised in a dysfunctional 90’s household, that was both chaotic and colorful. This place is all about digestible parenting bites, pieces of thoughtful, yummy, curious topics. Sometimes parenting really does bite; however, you should know that, for me, parenting has made me a better human. I’m actually super into being curious about the imperfect process that is parenting and, for that matter, peopling. I’m in this space questioning generational cycles, reinventing my form of parenting, and being imperfect along the way. Join me! topics of interest?</image:caption>

      <image:title>About - Hi, I’m Holly.</image:title>
<image:caption>Living in a world that isn’t built for your brain can be exhausting. Whether you’re navigating ADHD, anxiety, burnout, or trying to unlearn years of masking and self-doubt—you’re not alone, and you don’t have to do it alone. I’m a therapist, school psychologist, and mom who specializes in working with neurodivergent individuals, couples, and parents. My work centers ADHDers, AuDHDers, and those who may not have a formal diagnosis but have always felt like “typical” never quite fit. Many of my clients carry a lifetime of being told they’re “too much” or “not enough.” Together, we work to replace shame with self-understanding and burnout with balance. As a neurodivergent parent myself, I deeply understand the invisible labor of trying to hold it all together while still wanting to feel like yourself. My therapy space is built on empathy, curiosity, and collaboration. I bring real-life tools, a trauma-informed lens, and a neuro-affirming approach to every session. My goal is to help you reconnect with how your brain and body actually work—not how the world has told you they should. In our work together, you lead. I integrate evidence-based practices like psychoeducation, EMDR, parts work, and attachment theory to help bring awareness to stuck patterns and gently open the door to change and healing. Some days, therapy looks like managing anxiety and building sustainable systems. Other days, it’s about grieving what wasn’t, rewriting inner narratives, or finding small moments of regulation in a chaotic day. When working with couples, I support neurodivergent and neurotypical partnerships using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method to build connection, improve communication, and foster mutual understanding. In my work with parents I offer support that honors both the needs of your child and your own nervous system. Grounded in the work of Dr. Daniel Siegel, Dr. Ross Greene, and Dr. Eli Lebowitz, I help caregivers tap into their strengths, release perfectionism, and create connection-based strategies that feel doable and authentic. Therapy with me is not about fixing you—it’s about coming home to yourself. It’s a space where your full self is welcome, where mistakes are expected, and where growth doesn’t have to look perfect to be meaningful. Your curiosity brought you, and that curiosity is powerful—it’s the space between awareness and change. I know this firsthand. My curiosity has been a guide through my own wellness path. I have learned that healing is not linear, and that progress is often found in the small, messy, brave moments. If you're ready to explore how to live in deeper alignment with your values, your brain, and your relationships—I’m here to walk alongside you. So much love, Holly</image:caption>

      <image:title>About - Hi, I’m Holly.</image:title>
<image:caption>When my second daughter was 3 years old, I began to understand that my guilt and labels for good parenting and bad parenting were entirely self-imposed. I realized that parenting is not innate. And by parenting, I don’t mean providing basic human necessities. What I mean is, supporting children in their development of life-skills. Growing up, healthy boundaries were not modeled. It was an entangled landscape of emotions and language that fueled dysfunctional patterns. From my early experience grew strengths such as humor, empathy, and curiosity, but I needed to do something different. I became a psychotherapist, school psychologist and a certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator. Most importantly, I remained a curious parent, an inquisitive person. Through this, the process of reparenting emerged. In therapy, my desire is to offer you a unique space, moment in your day or week, that is just for you. Your goals are honored and my professional understanding will support you in your journey. I interweave my personal experience and humor when appropriate. Advanced training: EMDR trained, currently in the certification process Maternal Mental Health Certificate Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy Gottman Level 1 Certified Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as well as Polyvagal Theory I have extensive experience conducting psychological evaluations to assess executive functioning, learning disabilities, ADHD, emotional disabilities within the school. This allows me to understand diverse neurological profiles. *I do not provide psychological evaluations through TMIM at this time.</image:caption>
